We cap the cohort at 24 athletes so coaching stays personal — coach to athlete ratio of 1:8 in every session. Once the cohort starts, we don't add more.

Step 03 · Your Week
Every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday — Hyrox-specific blocks at Unlocked Studio in Devonbosch. Members keep their normal sessions on the other days. Non-members get full studio access for the 6 weeks.
Compromised Running Block
5 × (1km run + 1 station). Heart-rate ceiling work. The race in miniature.
Station Drills + Strength
Wall ball, sled push, sled pull, lunges. Pacing strategy + heavy compounds.
Long Block / Race Sim
3-5 station blocks at race pace. Transitions, hydration, fueling.
Optional · Studio Strength
Members: your normal classes. Non-members: full studio access included for 6 weeks.
Step 04 · How It Works
The 12-week online programme works for self-driven athletes. The 6-week in-studio works for everyone else — because being told what to do, in person, by a coach who's watching you, is the cheat code most athletes ignore.
PILLAR 01 · LIVE COACHING
Three sessions a week, in person, with an Unlocked coach. Sled push form gets fixed. Wall ball cadence gets dialled. Burpee broad jump gets a rhythm. The cues you can't get from a video.
PILLAR 02 · THE LEADERBOARD
Points for showing up, points for hitting your numbers, points for the test sets. Top 3 at the end win Unlocked swag + a R1500 voucher to the studio. Nobody trains harder than when there's a board with names on it.
PILLAR 03 · FULL SIMULATION
Week 5, Saturday morning, the studio runs a full Hyrox simulation. Same stations, same distances, same chaos. You'll know your splits, your transitions, your fueling — every variable except the venue. Most athletes do this for the first time on race day. You won't.
PILLAR 04 · THE TEAM
Twenty-four athletes. The same WhatsApp group. The same Saturday morning sweat. The same "we made it." Hyrox is technically a solo race — but nobody trains for it alone. The team is the whole point.
Step 05 · The Leaderboard
